Reclaimed Scaffold Board

from £4.00

Our reclaimed scaffold boards are furniture-quality timber with natural grain, texture and rustic character. Each board has its own markings, weathering and history, making them ideal for shelves, desks, tables, benches, cladding, feature walls, garden projects and custom furniture.

Boards are approx. 22.5cm wide and 3.8cm thick, available in a range of lengths and can be supplied raw, sanded or finished depending on your project.

Online orders are available up to 4ft / 120cm.

We do stock and produce larger sizes, including longer boards, shelves, desks, tables and custom pieces. Larger items require our own delivery service, so they cannot be purchased directly through the online store.

For anything over 4ft / 120cm, custom projects, questions or larger orders, please use the enquiry form below and we’ll come back to you with availability, delivery options and a quote.

Options

We offer flexible finishing options for our reclaimed scaffold boards and shelves, depending on your project, budget and how much preparation you want to do yourself.

No Finish: Supplied in their raw reclaimed state. These will be rough and may contain site debris, dirt, metal fragments, shrapnel, splinters and other marks from their previous use.

This option is best if you want to fully prepare, sand and finish the timber yourself.

Sanded: Available sanded on one side or both sides.

The timber is sanded smooth, making it a good choice if you want to apply your own finish afterwards, such as varnish, oil, wax, stain or paint.

Finished: Available finished on one side or both sides.

We use Osmo Danish Oil to give the timber a premium, professional-quality finish while enhancing the natural grain, tone and character of the reclaimed wood.

This is the best option if you want your boards or shelves ready to install or use with minimal extra work.

Why One Side or Both Sides?

We offer one-sided and two-sided finishing so you only pay for what your project needs.

For shelves, visible furniture projects and pieces where both faces may be seen, you may want both sides prepared and finished. For wall-mounted shelves, cladding, feature walls or projects where one side will be fixed against a wall or hidden from view, a one-sided finish may be enough.

We like to keep things flexible, practical and fair, so you do not have to spend more than necessary.
